Life Celebration Ceremonies

This has been long overdue as our Mum passed away in March 2020 but I still think about the service Jane gave her. Jane couldn’t have been a more interested, genuine, kind and thoughtful person. She took a keen interest in each of our stories we had to tell of mum – of which there were many! I don’t know many people who could sit and listen to 10 – 20 different stories about someone they’d never met – and remember all the detail!

The reading that Jane put together was so personal and spot on. The perfect balance of joy and nostaliga, bringing the memories to life once more.

Afterwards, the whole family said it was mum to a tee! She would have loved it, it was perfect. Thank you Jane! Xx

Dear Jane,
I just wanted to write and thank you for the service you gave for Auntie Pam on Friday at Parndon Wood. You truly captured her as a woman and were able to make us all smile as we said a hard last goodbye.
I cannot thank you enough for your hard work and compassion during this time. It amazes me how you managed to paint such a picture in the short time you had to speak to loved ones and friends.
Everyone said what a lovely service it was on Friday and how pleased she would have been that we all had happy memories to be left with.

Jane would just like to thank you so much for what you have done for me.  I think your words and the relaxed atmosphere helped us all. I am happy that we gave dad a send off which was fitting, not loud just nice and calm which I think was a testament to you, and I appreciate it. Thank you again.

​Thank you so much for a perfect service for mum on Friday. Dad, Andrew and I cannot thank you enough for the time you spent with us and for the amazing tribute you drew from that, especially with how ill you were last week.

Lots of people commented on how you captured mum and how personal the service was, a number saying it was the loveliest they had been to.

Your support through a very difficult time and especially on Friday meant so much and we will always be grateful.

Thank you so much for yesterday, without your help I think we would have struggled. You are a true professional who genuinely cares about people. It was an excellent service, I think Dad would have approved.

Periods in your life get extremely difficult and this was certainly one of them. We want to say a Big Thank You to Jane, as the service for Doreen was put together with great warmth, involvement of ourselves and it totally reflected her happy character. As a family we all felt Jane supported us throughout and we will always be grateful to her, for her kindness.

Jane was the celebrant for my mums funeral! She is an exceptional lady and excellent at her job. She captured mum exactly how she was and totally understood how we were describing her. She is so personable and I would highly recommend Jane! Thank you for an amazing job on a sad day! Xxx

Our friend had been such a huge character for so long, that anything mainstream, normal or sad would just not be appropriate at her funeral.

The most amazing venue was chosen and Jane led us through the proceedings. Jane managed to encapsulate the spirit of our dear friend into a solemn, uplifting and sometimes funny celebration of our friend’s life.

I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again for any of the key celebrations in my life. I’d also strongly recommend her to anyone needing a celebrant who is both personal and professional.
